Remembrance Parade & Service

We have been invited by the Royal British Legion to take part in the Remembrance Parade. Please be at the Royal British Legion Hall at 10:10am, in uniform, Beaver /Cub jumper or Scout Shirt and necker smartly rolled with proper woggle. If you do not have uniform trousers please wear school grey trousers. School shoes to be worn, NO trainers. Please remember to wear 2 or 3 warm layers underneath your uniform, also 2 pairs of socks – it can be a cold wind whilst standing at the memorial. Bring a raincoat, but we’ll carry them, if it’s not raining. All Beavers, Cubs & Scouts are expected to attend. We form up and mark the laying of the wreath at the Legion Mememorial, before marching down to the Bishops Cleeve War Memorial for the Service of Remembrance.  A march back to the Royal British Legion, with a local dignatory taking the Salute is followed by a Parade Dismiss. After which you are free to depart, or join the Royal British Legion members for refreshments and a chat.
